The Anaheim Ducks acquired left winger Brad May from the Colorado Avalanche for goaltender Mike Wall.

Already one of the toughest teams in the league, Brad May brings more grit and plenty of experience. He can step into post-season play without being a liability while one-dimensional tough guy George Parros will likely be a scratch. Plus, GM Brian Burke knows him from their days in Vancouver.
What does it give the Colorado Avalanche
The Avs get Mike Wall, a big young goaltender who will pad their depth. Barring injury, he'll spend the rest of the season in the minors, where the Avs need help.
